Prayer of Communion: God, who loves us enough to take on the role of a servant for us, we thank you for your servant, Jesus, who taught us how to live a life of service to you and others. We thank you for him walking the path of obedience, even to death and securing for us freedom from death and sin. We thank you for these symbols that remind us of what he gave to make that so. Now, as we take the bread and cup, fill us again with your Spirit, that we may be your true servants in your world.
